Tell Me ALL About it….
We were talking recently on a yahoo group about scrap software. I’m an old Photoshop user from waaaaaaay back, so I tend to be partial to PS and PSE. For strictly scrapping, I actually prefer PSE5, for designing - PSCS2/3.
But I want to know….
What do YOU use??
As we develop more and more tutorials, I’d like to know what programs you all are using, so we can make sure we are providing useful information to all our dear readers.
We put a poll in the sidebar that we will keep ongoing; so whenever you join us or if you change programs, let us know! If I didn’t list your favorite program, leave a comment here, and if enough people mention it I will add it to the poll. I’d love to hear why you use what you do, and whether you’ve changed or are contemplating a change. So tell me ALL about it…

I started out using GIMP but found it took forever to get things done. I used a trial version of PSE 6 until I bit the bullet and bought PSE 5. I love it. If I ever decide to get into designing though I will probably break down and buy Photoshop.

I have been digital scrapping for about 2 years and have always used Digital Image Pro. I love it but cannot get updates any longer as they have stopped selling the program. I now have a trial of PS CS3 but am soooooo lost! Hubby has it so has the key if I want to put it on my computer after the trial but right now I just feel dumb when I open it!

I use PSCS2 and would love 3 but sigh, $$$$! LOL I have thought about getting other programs but there is just nothing better that I can tell. I can see lots of room for improvement on my end too!

I just purchased CS3 - and am slowing learning to use it (thank you!). I still mostly scrap in PSE5.

My first intro to digital scrapping was with ACDSee Photo Editor and photo Manager. I do think I’l be switching over to PSE5 once it’s available for Mac next month.
ACDSee photo manager is a spectaular program for catalogue all of your digital files, but I had a lot of issues with photo editor though.

I started out using PrintMaster, then found Paint Shop Pro but found it difficult to use for scrapbooking, so I got Photoshop Elements 6 and absolutely love that

I started on psp and pse at the same time - and just found pse easier - I do have pscs2 - that I am learning and use for actions - but usually pull out pse 3, 5 or 6 for doing a layout.
