Now that I’m not spending all of my time making Freebies – I’m having some time to scrap! I did this recipe today to take to the party we’re having at Weight Watchers.

Kit is a Shabby Sheik from Amandas Designs at Digitals – this was a freebie, I think, isn’t it cute??
Check out the kit here – if you’d like to try it out, there’s a different freebie here
ANNNYway… I made this because I needed to take a recipe to the party – but that led me to wonder – what inspires me? Lots of things, I think, but… what inspires me to follow through? My scraplift folder is FULL of wonderful things I’ve saved, but never go back to do. So I’ve decided that once a week, I’m going to do a blog post about inspiration – maybe it will inspire ME to scrap – maybe it will inspire YOU!!
Help me out – what inspires you? What makes you sit down, right now, and scrap that. Is it a kit? A photo? Something that happened? I can’t wait to hear!!!
Happy Scrapping!
Jenn

Hi Jenn – that recipe sounds good! I get inspired when something happens, or someone says something that strikes me. I also get inspired when I see a cool product. Hope this helps. Looking forward to reading your inspirations…

I get inspired by photos taken. Usually pick colors from some of the pictures, then look for kits/items to go with it. Sometimes, though, an idea I see online inspires me to start something new, or to re-do something I’ve already scrapped.
Finding time to scrap now is another thing though! Being a newly wed after 18 years of being on my own (and being able to scrap/craft whenever I wanted to), finding time for my hobbies is difficult (almost non-existent)! I used to keep up to date with my digital scrapping, but not any more!
Thanks for sharing your ideas with everyone!

Jenn… usually for me it’s because I’ve got some new photos that I can’t wait to show off. LOL
