About Us

ScrapKitty Design is the graphic design enterprise of Jenn and Stan White. We are in Cleveland, Tennessee in the beautiful foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, but are native New Yorkers! We have been married 18 years and have three amazing, beautiful and of course above average children!

Jenn –

I have been designing scrap supplies since 2005, and selling since 2006. I started out doing photo retouching in Photoshop, and progressed to laying out my children’s school yearbooks. From there it was a short hop to scrapbooking, and as a long time paper scrapper, I took to it like a college student to coffee! I was hooked! As my skills grew, I started teaching classes at my local scrapbook store, and roped my darling husband in to help. (More from him below.) I love learning new techniques, and the challenge of making new elements and papers. I’m always looking for inspiration, and love to get suggestions for kits and products from customers and students. Stan and I teach online classes now, and truly enjoy watching our students blossom from newbies to truly creative scrappers!

I am a 25 year veteran of the photo industry, having spent many years at Eastman Kodak before moving to a professional color lab here in Tennessee. I love to teach, and have been lucky enough to teach photographers for years before Jenn roped me into teaching scrappers. I am the ScrapKitty tech desk, doing much of the backstage work designing the website and blog. I also tend to be Jenn’s Photoshop Help Desk – on call 24 hrs a day! We love teaching together, as we each bring a different perspective to the class. I work with photographs all day, whereas she has the scrap sensibility. This allows us to give in depth course work, and broadens both of our creative vision.
